The topic of sadism, and those we may call sadists, can be a very sensitive topic. Let me state emphatically, that this blog looks at sadists under the constructs of the BDSM community. In no way does this blog endorse or seek to glorify those who harm others against their will. Rather it seeks to explore sadists in the workd of kink, who play with others in a safe, sane, and most importantly, a consensual manner.
This blog is intended to draw commentary on sadism, or more specifically, the sadist, who is part of the kink community at large. As a masochist, I love the complexity of the sadistic mind. I understand my roots in masochism, but it is difficult for me to understand the sadist. What were they like as children? How long have they known they were sadistic? Do they accept their sadism?
I admire sadists for their skills, and for embracing who they are. To that end, this blog is perhaps somewhat selfish, as I hope it will allow me a better insight into the mind of a sadist.
